These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chronosense platform and website (https://chronosenseapp.com) operated by Chronosense Limited ("Chronosense", "we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.
1. Nature of the Service
Chronosense is a subscription-based compliance monitoring and notification platform.
The service provides structured deadline tracking, escalation alerts, automated monitoring, and organizational visibility tools for regulatory obligations.
Chronosense:
Does not provide legal advice
Is not a regulator or filing authority
Does not file submissions on behalf of users
Does not guarantee regulatory compliance or regulatory outcomes
Users remain solely responsible for meeting all regulatory and compliance obligations.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account.
Each subscription corresponds to one organization. The account creator becomes the organization owner and may invite additional authorized users.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activities conducted under your organization account.
3. Organizational Access & User Roles
Chronosense supports multi-user organizational accounts.
Organization owners may invite additional users via a secure invitation system and assign roles governing what actions those users may perform within the platform.
Activity within the platform is logged for audit and visibility purposes.
Chronosense is not responsible for the internal delegation of compliance responsibilities within an organization.
4. Escalation & Notifications
The platform uses a structured escalation model to increase visibility of approaching and overdue deadlines. Alert severity levels include informational, warning, critical, and overdue.
The service may send:
Account-related emails
Deadline escalation emails
SMS notifications for urgent alerts
By creating an account, you consent to receiving service-related communications necessary for the operation of the platform.
While Chronosense implements notification controls and safeguards, delivery of email or SMS messages cannot be guaranteed due to factors outside our control, including carrier, provider, or user device issues.
Failure to receive a notification does not relieve you of responsibility for meeting applicable deadlines.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Chronosense integrates with the following third-party providers to deliver platform services:
Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
Amazon Web Services (S3) — encrypted document and compliance packet storage
SendGrid — transactional email delivery
Twilio — SMS delivery and two-factor authentication
Cloudflare — bot protection and traffic management
Hetzner — platform hosting and infrastructure
Chronosense may also integrate with additional third-party platforms as part of specific product offerings. Where applicable, such integrations will be identified within the relevant product features.
Chronosense is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform listed above.
Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Chronosense is not responsible for outages, changes, suspensions, or actions taken by third-party providers.
6. Subscription & Billing
Access to the platform requires an active paid subscription.
Subscriptions:
Are billed monthly
Renew automatically unless canceled
Are processed securely via Stripe
By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
Access will continue until the end of the current billing period
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
Chronosense does not store full payment card details.
Failure to maintain valid payment information may result in suspension or termination of access.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the service for unlawful purposes
Attempt to access data belonging to another organization
Submit false or misleading information through the platform
Reverse engineer or disrupt the platform
Interfere with system integrity or security
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Data & Security
Chronosense implements administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect data within the platform.
However:
No system is completely secure
Internet transmissions cannot be guaranteed
Users remain responsible for protecting their own credentials

9. Service Availability
We aim to maintain reliable access to the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may:
Modify or update features
Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
Suspend access for security or operational reasons
We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chronosense shall not be liable for:
Missed regulatory deadlines
Regulatory fines or enforcement actions
Financial losses arising from use or non-use of the platform
Indirect or consequential damages of any kind
The platform is a monitoring and visibility tool only. Users retain full responsibility for all compliance actions and submissions.
11. Account Termination & Data
We may suspend or terminate access if:
Subscription payments fail
These Terms are violated
Use of the platform creates legal or security risk
You may terminate your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination or account deletion, associated personal data will be removed in accordance with our data retention practices. Organizations wishing to request removal of their organizational data should contact support directly.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
